My sister-in-law, Donna, and I have always had a wonderful friendship. Over the years we've drifted in and out of each others lives, mainly because of living far apart from each other or, my being busy raising our sons. When that job was completed and they became married men with wonderful women to take care of them, Donna and I were able to get back together and have some more fun. She introduced me to quilting in 1995 and I fell in love. Together we've had a wonderful time going to quilt shops, gathering our stash and making quilts. One quilt shop in our state offers discounts several times a year and, to make it interesting you have to wear hats. It doesn't make a difference what they look like, but no hats, no discount, no exceptions! It's amazing what women will do for fabric at a good price!
