We have a large sycamore tree in our front yard here in Florida. I'm guessing it's at least 70 feet tall and the branches reach out probably as wide in all directions. It's the first tree to lose its leaves in the fall and then the last one to get the new leaves in the spring. While it's bare in the fall and winter months, we have a flock of crows that comes and perches on those branches and chatter the day away. I've seen so many birds in that tree that it looks like it's covered with black leaves. The crows also like to eat the last of the sunflowers that are going to seed. One year I managed to save some of the sunflowers. I dried them upside down for several weeks and then the following year put them in a Purina Poultry Feeder I have in the house. It was so much fun to see these tall skyscrapers in that feeder that it inspired me to make this project. If you are like me, you have a lot of table runners, wall hanging, quilts, so because of this, I chose to decorate a door. This is the first in a line of "Door Hangers" that will be presented to you. I think with all the different seasons it would be fun to have many.
