Holy Matchimony Thing

You have been reading about my family for a couple of years now. You first met my Grampa in Punky Doodle Corners, and you’ve read about my Gramma from time to time throughout my pattern line, but I’ve never told you how they met and started their large family.

My Grampa, Alan (NMI) Cameron, was a widower with a small seven-year-old girl, Mary. Being alone, he needed someone to care for Mary while he worked, so he hired Minnie Jeannette Campbell for this purpose. However, not long after going to work for him, they fell in love and were married. Isn’t love grand?!

Little Mary didn’t have long to wait before the house started filling up with siblings to play with... nine would be added, making a total of ten children in the Cameron family. Having both come from large families themselves, it was only natural for them to continue with the same family traditions. There is a lot of love and laughter in our family, a closeness that is very special to this day. Gramma and Grampa Cameron are no longer with us, but they live on in our hearts and memories.
