I'm an avid reader and every once in awhile there is a book that just makes me laugh. It's always one that seems close to home, so it's unforgettable. In the book, Gabriel, the Archangel sent this trio of apprentice angels to earth to help people in need. You know, people that just couldn't get their lives straightened out. Most of the time, they ended up making a mess of things and getting into all kinds of trouble, but always ended up doing their job before they were called home again. My sister, Sharron, my sister-in-law, Donna and I used to sew together just about every Saturday and these three "unlikely" angels seem to sum us up. Shirley was an angel that always wanted to help, but for some reason just couldn't get it right most of the time, Goodness was an angel that no matter what, always had to have it just perfect, and tried to keep the others on the straight and narrow (sorry, that didn't happen either!), and Mercy - well, I'm afraid there was just no hope for her at all, but she loved to have a good time_ This trio had the best time together and so none of it mattered after all.
