My Special Valentine

One of the things I've noticed as a designer is that people are looking for alternative ways to have fun. Quilting is my passion, but I also need a diversion sometimes. Having a small project that I can work on in between larger quilting projects makes me happy. I was amazed at the needle punch when it first came out, but when rug punching was born, I found to my delight, it was a more primitive style and I fell in love immediately. I'm not a big fan of hearts or I should say the traditional ones, but lopsided primitive ones do speak to me and who doesn't like flowers? After doodling a little I came up with this project and you guessed it, it was around Valentine's Day. It sits on the table in your picture and makes me smile when I walk by.
