Fiddlin Around

The Cameron family is a musical family for sure. My Grampa, Alan Cameron and his brothers were known for making music and everyone loved to dance. My Uncle Morris and Uncle Jim were told that who ever learn to play the violin first would get my Grampa's violin and the second one to learn would get my Great Uncle Jack's. One of my fondest memories of them playing was at a family reunion. The whole family had gathered up on my Uncle Morris' farm. My aunts had cooked for days in preparation. It was the first time my husband had been to our family reunion. It's one he's never forgotten. There was plenty to eat and drink, and there was a lot of fiddlin' going on. That memory is what inspired this quilt to be made.
